Where Do You Pay PAYE?

Follow the link above, enter the amount that you need to pay, choose the month you're paying and enter your 13 digit Accounts Office Reference. You can also find bank details for HMRC on the above link to make payment direct from your bank.

What Are the Minimum Wage Rates for 24/25?

21 and over: £11.44

18-20: £8.60

16-17: £6.40

Apprentice rate: £6.40

If you have an apprentice who is 19 and over, in their second year of their apprenticeship, they must be on minimum wage for their age.

How Much Do I Pay My Employees For SSP and SMP? Can I Claim These Back?

The current rate for SSP is £116.75 and this must be covered each week by the employer. It cannot be claimed back from HMRC.

The current rate for SMP, SPP, SPBP, SHPP and SAP is £184.03. This can be claimed back from HMRC once the final payment has been made to the employee. At Payroll Pal we can both process these statutory payments and lodge any claims on your behalf.

How Much Do I Need To Earn Before I'm Auto-Enrolled Into a Pension Scheme?

The auto enrolment threshold is set at £192 per week and £833 per month. Once hitting these thresholds you will automatically be enrolled into the work place pension scheme. If you are under 22 or don't earn enough, you can still choose to opt into the scheme.
